About the Program

iWrite eCamp is an online creative writing journey developed by Amy Kelly with a curriculum that guides students step-by-step through the process of planning and writing a story following the structure of the Hero's Journey storytelling framework.

Over the course of three weeks, students (1-5 per time slot) are guided through an interactive workbook structuring a story across three acts. Guidance focuses on developing key plot points such as the call to adventure and supreme crisis.

The learning materials aim to ignite creativity while providing a flexible storytelling blueprint. Students are encouraged to put their own unique spin on the heroic journey structure.

Amy Kelly, founder of iWrite eCamp, holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Full Sail University. With over a decade of professional writing and teaching experience, Amy is passionate about instilling a love of storytelling in young writers.

Seeing a lack of access to quality learning materials to develop skills in young writers, Amy created iWrite eCamp. This 6 modular workshop follows an interactive writing workbook that guides students through imagining, planning, and writing their own hero's journey narratives.

With her relatable, enthusiastic teaching style, Amy makes the process of creative writing approachable and fun.
